You know you’re onto something when massive multi-nationals like Philip Morris International, British American Tobacco, Japan Tobacco International and Imperial Tobacco start investing in electronic cigarettes!

The world’s four biggest tobacco companies outside China are planning to target smokers with substitutes such as electronic cigarettes, tobacco vaporisers and nicotine inhalers over the next decade, according to a recent report in the UK’s Financial Times.

British American Tobacco’s group scientific director David O’Reilly is quoted in the article as saying “[Smokeless cigarettes] will be a major focus going forward – giving cigarette smokers a healthier alternative whilst not compromising on the taste and the sensory pleasure of smoking.”

Maybe when the Big Boys get involved, the Australian Government will start to listen to the arguments about how electronic cigarettes can help save the lives of thousands of Australians each year, and will make it easier for us to supply them to our customers!

A British survey has found that smokers spend an average of 240 hours on ‘smokos’ at work each year. That’s 1.2 years spent on smoking breaks during work hours over the course of an average working life.

Imagine if all those smokers switched to Elusion electronic cigarettes!

No more ducking out for 10 minutes at a time. No more cigarette butts littering the pavement outside the business. No more resentful non-smoking employees who watch their smoking colleagues take a break several times a day.

One of the key benefits of Elusion electronic cigarettes is that they can be enjoyed anywhere, at any time.

That’s because the vapour they produce is odourless and chemical free, with none of the associated health and air quality issues associated with passive smoking.

Yet it still satisfies the cravings that make workers who smoke leave their desks to have a cigarette.

Available in a variety of nicotine strengths – high, medium, low and zero – employees who smoke get none of the withdrawal symptoms associated with quitting smoking.

This is a win/win for everyone – for the smokers, who can still enjoy their ‘smoko’; for the employer, who isn’t losing money every time a smoker goes outside for a cigarette; and for the smoker’s work colleagues.
